Common Chickweed Seeds (50)
Common chickweed can be used as a ground cover in any area of your yard or garden that has part shade and fertile soil. It is a self seeding annual that spreads quickly, so be sure to thin out as needed. Chickweed has many medicinal uses, my favorite is to use in skin salves and oils for practically any skin ailment you have! It can also be used in salads, tinctures, etc.
To grow:
Add seed to 1/2 cup sand or peet moss to spread easily, as it is very small. Spread onto fertile soil and tamp down lightly as seeds need light to germinate. Plant in early spring or fall. Keep moist until germination.
