Evening Primrose Seeds (100)
Evening primrose is a perfect addition to your herb, flower, or apothecary garden. It is a biennial and will be a creeping plant its first year, the second year beautiful yellow flowers will bloom in a tall upright pattern. The flowers open at night and close up during the day. Evening primrose is used for medicinal purposes as well as in beauty products.
To grow:
Plant seeds in practically any soil, as it thrives in dry, sandy, even poor soil. Use sand or peet moss to evenly spread seeds by mixing them into 1 cup and spreading over your soil. Plant in full sun, though it can tolerate some afternoon shade. This plant is drought tolerant but its first year may still need some watering if dry and hot temperatures occur. Plant in early spring or in the fall by lightly tampering into the soil as seeds need light to germinate.
