Columbine Seeds — Cottage Mix (Aquilegia spp.)
50 organic seeds
Grown in a pollinator-friendly garden in Midland, Michigan, these columbine seeds were hand-harvested from a showy blue and white bloomer — but thanks to nature’s magic, their offspring may vary in color, pattern, or shape.
Perfect for wildflower lovers, cottage garden dreamers, and those who welcome surprise beauty.

Growing instructions:
For best results, sow columbine seeds outdoors in late summer or fall—this allows nature to provide the cold stratification they need to sprout in spring. Choose a spot with well-drained soil in part sun to light shade. Lightly press seeds into the soil surface (they need light to germinate), and keep the area moist until the ground freezes. In spring, you’ll see sprouts begin to emerge. For spring sowing, refrigerate seeds for 4–6 weeks before planting. Columbine is a low-maintenance perennial that blooms in its second year and often self-seeds to return for years to come.
